  1. Turquoise is utilized a lot in Native American art,, Might find some inspiration there.
  2. Yep.,.,don't know if its true.,.,But I saw that explanation on M*A*S*H* recently
  3. Hello What guitar are you looking to build? Strat ,Tele, Les Paul? Before buying any tools or wood I'd look into purchasing one of these books. http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/0953104907 http://www.amazon.co...r/dp/1846091276 The second one comes with full size plans for a strat style guitar. Both books are very detailed and with the search function here, should answer just about every question you might have. Good luck with your build! Peace Jack
  4. I came to this forum looking to find out how to fix my broken Les Paul. The Bluespresence build made me want to be a member. What a great bunch of people you are for the tribute you have paid to a lost friend. Peace Jack
  5. Wow...I can so see Billy Gibbons playing that. Love it!
  6. Very nice guitar! Love the blue. Thank you for sharing the build. Congrats on the GOTM,,, Peace Jack
  7. Ask around at a few dept. stores. They frequently throw out unused or broken display units that are made of plexi. I got quite a few usable pieces a local JCP store. They were more than happy to give it to be recycled.
  8. +1 Love the white with that body. Im kinda seeing where you drew the inspiration for the body and I like your headstock shape Much better. Jack edit..,.Ok Patrick pointed it out a little more directly
