It's obviously too late for this, but I was going to suggest that, since the wood you were cutting from was so large, you should try and make a one piece guitar, but whatever. Also, Reverse Vs suck.

To clarify, by one piece I meant the entire guitar be made out of one, unbroken piece of maple. No glue, no screws (except for the electronics and maybe the tuners and bridge) just one piece of maple
