  3. Ahh, I see now, well thanks for the information. It look forward to learning about this stuff. I'm told there is quite a future in the industry.
  4. Could you explain some of the premises and uses of Digital Logic. I'm not sure if they offer that at LTI, but I'll pose the question to administrative staff.
  5. Ok, I'm 20 years old and thinking it's getting to be time for me to enroll in college. I just have a couple questions. I am going to be attending Louisville Technical Institute. They offer a Computer Electronics Training course. The first section of which is basic electronic courses and certification, (Soldering, chip board work, ect) I'm wandering if any of this knowledge would possibly help me to repair, remove, or install electric components for guitar, such as the pickups or other stuff like that. I'd really like to know because there is a 90% chance that I will take the class regardless of whats posted here because I grew up around computers, I would love to be involved in building them and their parts. I know this probably isn't in the right forum, but I figured you guys in Electronics would be most able to answer this question. Scott
  6. I opened dup the switch plate on the back... and pulled it out of the housing without disconnecting anything and just sqeezed all the metal contacts together with my thumb and forefinger and switched it back and forth some, and it seems to be working fine now, so it was obviously the switch. It appears in the replies that this seems to be a reoccuring problem with gibson switches. Thanks for your help and suggestion guys.
  7. Gibson Les Paul Voodoo... KPnutz is describing my problem pretty good, Ill check the switch and see if anything is up, thanks guys.
