OKAY THANKS!! WHAT HAPPENS if the binding is removed? Is it easy to take apart and put back together?

I have strap buttons I wish to attach it to a button on the rear but tie under the neck. I just can not figure hot the Dog clip and leather pieces fir into a button??? I can not load the pics you posted.......can you email them? LeftyGuitar81@aol.com

How whould you attach a Paul McCartney strap with a butt button and tied under neck? Dog clip will not exactly do it! Where do the two screws and crome clips com into play that come with strap? WesR.

I have a 1975 Rickenbacker 4001 bass (LEFT HANDED) It has been refinished (PURPLE) and I wish to return it to the MapleGlo. IT WILL BE MY FIRST STRIPING PROJECT!!!!! So MUCHO advise is welcome! Q. Do I Sand of Chem. strip the finish? Q. Do I remove all the wires and pickguard and knobs (tuners included)? What should I know before I start? THANKS! WR
