  2. Are there any 2mm or thicker 7mm diameter Pearl Dots available? Does anyone sell 7mm diam. staffs of pearloid for making it yourself? Stewmac only have 0.05" thick (1.27mm).
  3. What kind of lacquer is needed for Maple Fretboards? I read Epoxy was necessary to protect it, especially for Fretless. Does any Epoxy suffice? How do you best apply it to the FB? Brush?
  4. What kind of glue did you use to attach the fretboard to the neck?
  5. Looking for Aria Cardinal CS-250 Type high Flat Heel Bridges, top-loaded if available. All that seems available are the Gotoh style ones with the SLOT in the middle Anyone knows where to get at least FLAT TOP ones, so you can adjust each string sideways, instead of a dedicated slot?

  8. Is there any Shop that sells Screwless Tuners? Haven't found any.
  9. Looking for Epoxy 330 (or 220) in the larger bottles (what size are they?) and a seller that ships those to EU, or a supplier in EU. I want larger bottles than the small 0.5 + 0.5oz tubes. http://www.jewelrysupply.com/index.php?mai...=Glue+Epoxy+330 Have only found this Epoxy 330 available for transparent fretboard inlays, being water clear. If other Totally Water Clear Epoxy products are available in EU, I'm interested. How much Epoxy is needed for a JEM neck with Pyramid or "Tree of life" inlay set?
  10. What if one were to do a tuner of wood like on a Cello or a Flamenco guitar, how do you do to prevent it from turning/reversing out of tune and still slide well enough for tuning?
  11. Order it from LMI or Gilmer. You take your chances with Stewmac by the looks of the boards people have sent me here and there. -Doug Stewmac say they only sell Flatsawn, an Gilmer don't slot boards.
  12. What width Fret do you want? I have a friend that does machine work at home (he's retired) may be able to get him to do it. I'm assuming that the press inserts are standard for a stewmac size other than the radius? Mike Well it says 95mm here, 3.74" width, 0.25" thick, 0.6" high - for the 430mm, 17" and 7" radius. Maybe 10" too. More options if the price is right. And they're wider than stewmac's for wider necks.
  13. Are the LMI "FWG110 fretwire, gold โ€Evoโ€ alloy, 4 feet $10.85" Equal to guitarpartsresource's "DUNLOP 6180 BRASS FRETWIRE .038" tall and .85" wide", metal-wise? Or are there Other Dunlop 6100 sized Gold fretwire available?
  14. How do you Bend/shape an already cut Fretwire [2-5/8" long pieces] to a correct radius for mounting on the Fretboard? The http://www.zdguitars.com/tutorials/info_fretbender.html F.I. only seems to work on longer pieces, not short ones. Anyone Sells Pre-radiused Dunlop 6100?
  15. Looking for fret Press inserts with Radiuses that I have not found anywhere, 8", 17" and 430mm (JEM) Does anyone make them, delivers to EU? About 6mm (.25") x 95 x 15mm.
  16. Is there any established Fretboard supplier in Sweden or Europe that Slots and Radius Fretboards - that can compete with US in price? What I know of, there are only lumber or Unslotted / Unradiused boards available in EU - or they just import from US.
  17. I know. It's Quartersawn Ebony I'm looking for, a bit harder to find than Maple or RW (10" rad.) .
  18. ...African blackwood to be outstanding as a different approach to the jet black fingerboard.Rich Looking for a Slotted & Radiused board, Firstly. Stewmac have only flatsawn Boards, they tell, but OK prices (25.5" รก $32). Lmii.com would have been an option if their Shipping weren't 200-300% of Stewmac's [2 boards: $14.27 v/s $33 !!!]. Also Looking for 10" radius Quartersawn Maple, where I would have bought from Stewmac (12" but...) for $13, if they HAD Quartersawn boards!
  19. Are Quartersawn Ebony Fretboards for Guitar available at all, or are they too rare to be an economical option?
  20. Got no Pau Ferro for a 6str Bass 35" ? Not available in the Calculation file.
  21. They do not Radius 17", and the widest they Radius anyway is 3.25" (82.6mm) witch is 2mm too narrow.
  22. Looking for a Slotted 24-fret Pau Ferro Fretboard for a 6-string Bass 35" Scale, 85-90mm wide, 17" radius. Also slotted 24-fret 820mm (32.28") scale Rosewood 4- and 6-String Bass fretboards - Quartersawn, 60mm and 90mm wide, 10" radius. Slotted Ebony Guitar 10" Radius 24-Fret 25.5" scale Fretboard, 60mm wide. Anyone who knows who can sell these to Europe at a fair price and humane Shipping?
  23. This is what model I'm looking for: (but with black text) Saw some other Clear Gold Bell Knobs: (stewmac) but want them with Grooves, as the Fender ones, if that is available.
  24. The planks are predominantly Quartersawn, 60'-90' angle, so I guess they might be up to par.
