Hey,
I was just wondering if anyone knew whether the finish on the Fender Vintage Hot Rod '62 Stratocaster® is pure Nitro or if Fender put poly underneath it and just did the top few layers in nitro. On the website it's listed as "Thin-Skin" Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish, but I've yet to encounter a recent Fender guitar with a pure Nitro finish that's not from the custom shop.
