  1. well i already did all the jumpers between the switches and i took like an hour XD i just wanted to try to doit out of pure curiosity but if its not posible then no prob XD
  2. i was wondering.... i have a couple of spdt left... would that be enough to make a coil cut select (i e select wich coil goes off...)
  3. all you need to do is conect the cable from your pickup in the lower lug in the switch and the cable from the jack to the middle lug then the cable from the middle lug in the volume pot to the top lug (use either side of the lugs) i think thats correct im not 100% positive
  4. if you want to use the 250k pot in the tone place you might as well use a bright capacitor (.022uf) to even things out
  5. if you got no use for that push pull you can do a killswitch ... better than nothing XD, or a solo switch (bypass volume and tone and have louder and brighter sound)
  6. dont rely in any diagrams for an unknown switch..... use a continuity tester!!!
  7. replying with pics when done.... about the liking .... i first need to improve my playing... (i really think i will end up posting my bands guitar player opinion XD)
  8. -whoops done any ideas or improvements just keep em coming!
  9. and i will have hehe nice XD updating
  10. whoa whoa i didnt get it.... each hot-ground pair is the outs of the on on on switches??
  11. done.... i hope i didint screw up much...
  12. ^ dude , you said something about the full HB in series in a previous tread i wrote bout this diagram. well, i wanted to know if the neck tone pot( or any other pot) will still be working with this wiring config (series mode)
  13. you can simply replace that wire with 2 strands of normal wire... any kind of wiring will work inside of a guitar (if you have proper shielding). as for the cable you cant find i guess its shielded cable you can get it at radioshack or basically in every electronics store
  14. u.u *feels stupid* I knew from the very beggining it was the blend pot!!!! jk ok so if i get a 250k for a humbucker the difference will be much less seen in the volume one ... tnx
  15. now that we are talking bout pots... which one will have more effect tone wise .... the volume pot or the tone pot ?? (about different resistance values) woot thread kidnapping
  16. i already made it fit and yes its wired backwards i already tested it with my continuity checker stuff XD
  17. i know its werid but arcade switches toggle between two circuits momentarily so the normal closed circuit is between the outer prongs and when you press the button you close the circuit in the upper and center prong leaving the lower one open i think thats the best switch for that application
  18. no prob dude tnx i think i will figure out (and btw i can find on on on dpdt switches nearby) i see the image now *goes for photoshop* ill redoit and post it here
  19. whoa whoa rigth!!! series-paralel/coiltap .... whoa youre a genious XD tnx wating anxiously for the diagram
  20. im just stuck here ... can somebody help me plz supposedly the design part is over.... anyway im open to any suggestions meanwhile i get the parts i still need this was the outcome
  21. as i understand it is just the brand... the real difference between pots exist in their resistance value and if they are linear or logarithmic
