    Hi, I found Briwax sealer, it worked really well and is widely available. You can get a grain filler from Craft Supplies, they sell the Rustins for £2.75. Good luck!

    I want 1/40", what I am saying is that nobody seems to sell it (that I can find). I dont want a top, but that seems to be all I can find.

    Hello everyone, I am new to the forums, and no doubt will be using them fairly frequently over the coming months having just embarked on a project - pics will follow. Anyway, I have probably spent the best part of 8-10 hours trawling the net looking for a supplier of veneer who can sell to the UK (at whatever price) bookmatched, quilted maple veneer that is less than 3/8" thick. I hope I'm not duplicating any posts, but I thought enough is enough - time to be direct! Cheers
