small update here so far i have planed glued together and jointed the neck pieces theres a small void in one of the ends but no biggie tomorrow i hope to cut the neck angle and maybe start cutting the neck shape i also just got the ebony fret board i find it amazing wood can look like that naturally http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i209/hme...cture1360-1.jpg a little blury but that was the best i can get

Ok i have another spalted maple top question how does it look if its dyed what if it is slightly flammed or quilted and you do that thing where you dye it black and sand it then dye it somethin else so it looks real 3d like do any of those methods work on spalted maple and look good i try to find info or pics on it but i cant
