  1. once again a very nice and well built guitar hyunsu *applauds* I always enjoy seeing your work and i have to say you get very nice woods ^^. I can't wait to see the strat, post some progress pics BTW how are you going to fix the control panel plate on? the only way i can see is to make it bigger then the whole and fixing it on, but that means its would stick out. Is that what you want?
  2. man what a great story, and its great to see that you have given this well deserved child the oportunity to work on guitars at such a young age. That is one kick ass guitar and those pictures were great and weezer maybe his dad likes him even more as he saved the dad money on buying a guitar lol
  3. very nice hollow body, and you must show the grain on that:D and honey finishes are sweet mmmmmmmMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm
  4. well done thats a cool axe. The shape doesnt do it for me bit the maple looks sweet
  5. thx for that, yeah its a 25" scale neck. thanks for the help everyone, looks like i can use it for my strat though i still need the body wood
  6. thx for that guys, heres the guitar neck, how do i find out what the scale is?
  7. ok well i have a 21 fret neck lying around in my house. Im just wondering if i can use it for a strat. It is "strat like" but i have noticed most strats are 22 frets ect...could i use my neck for that strat? or would i have to change the scale lenght? Im a newb so i might not be making any sence at all, thx anyways coddy
  8. i agree with everyone that is one sweet bass, love the inlays
  9. thanks for the input guys. I think ill buy it. Hopefully it wont go up by much. Ive got $275 (£150) to spend on wood. So i should have enough for all. Thanks again Coddy
  10. Hey im gonna build a guitar over my 2 month school break. Could you tell me whether this was a good price? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8112498071&rd=1 Im making a strat, gonna buy the alder, body blank from stewmac and the neck from there to. I would buy the maple from stewmac but the pictures dont seem that impressive. Has anyone baught them? Thanks, Coddy
  11. aye, but dont forget making a fool of yourself at some family reunion
  12. wow, that is awsome work, you made a good choice with the blue. That quilt is like jumping out at me. At parts it looks like its a carved top. Could you explain the process on what you did, for myself and others that would like to produce the same finish? Once again GREAT job Drak
  13. that is one freakin' nice peice of maple. What binding are you going to put on it? I reckon that wood should be left natural but thats just me. Lovely job as always
  14. its cool, but tbh, i hate those patters apart from the pink and orange one. That green one is disgusting
  15. nice design, looks like its inspired by a woman, one damn sexy woman
