I bought a good quality semi-acoustic bass off ebay lovely quality and everything...except its a horrible colour.Ive researched and it seems sanding,paint stripping etc is for solid bodies;im worried,as its fully acoustic,that i may damage the wood as it is not very thick.It has a very plastic finish to it that seems quite thick... would paint stripper work? or should i jus sand it? appreciate any suggestions...
