  1. i just purchased the digitech rp50 multi-effect pedal, and i was wondernig if anyone here has any custom patches that they created that they would want to share? or else, could you give me a site with patch librarys? such as http://www.digitech.com/cgi-bin/patchlib.p...e&bank=RP50~all
  2. my favorite (from high to low) is C# C# C# C# G# C# try it sometime. its use for some dashboard songs. oh yeah, and make sure you tune the g string*giggle* down, not up. i learned that the hard way...
  3. Yngwie for me he rules. wheres kirk Hammet?
  4. thanks for the links, but i looked at them, and it sounds way too complicated
  5. well, it was one of the cheapest guitars at the store.i thought that i would spend most of my money on the amp, since it would make more sense to one day soon replace the guitar rather than the amp. anyway, i was just playing it, and i realized that when i turn the tone all the way to 0, the buzzing stops. its just that i always play with it at 10. so, i guess it is the guitar. feel free to close the thread now.
  6. i keep hearing people say how easy it is to make distortion pedals, footswitches, wah wah pedals, but it seems like it would be really hard. what tools are needed? and how much electrical knowledge must you have?
  7. ok, thankyou. an unrelated question: i've noticed that no one on this forum that i've seen has a picture in their sig. is that not allowed?
  8. i'm sorry, but i've never heard the word 'pots' before. could you be more specific? sorry and i'm using an epiphone sg special, black
  9. new member here, so sorry if i am in the wrong section :-\ anyway, i have a marshall 30w DFX combo amp, and whenever i have it in overdrive, i heare this really loud buzzing, but then when i touch something metal on it, or the strings, it gets a little bit softer, but its still there. anyway to help this? and for anyone who has a the same, or similar amp, does it make some sort of popping noise when you turn it off? i just want to know if theese thigns are normal , or if there is some way to fix it. thanks
