  1. Thank you both! And the neck is glued on.
  2. I'm planning on building my first guitar, I chose to buy a pre-cut body now, and cut my own when I rotate into wood shop in the spring. Anyways, would you guys tell me if I'm missing anything from my order? I have to learn eventually, right? LIST: Flying V2 Body Mahogany Mahogany Flying V Neck w/ Rosewood Fretboard, Truss Rod, Cover .90 Black Matte Pick Guard Antiquity Neck/Bridge Pickups Gotoh Tune-O-Matic Stud Mount Bridge/Gotoh Stop Tail Piece CTS Brand 500K Pots x 4 CAP1 Capcitors Black Pickup Covers Switchcraft Brand Stereo Jack Black Push on fit Metric Shaft Bonnet Knobs Wire Black Switch Plate Humbucker Mounting Rings Strap Nuts 3 Left Tuning Machines and 3 Right Tuning Machines 3-Way Selector Switch What am I missing? P.S. I modified this from my list in notepad, I felt that putting the price of stuff was really none of your business. Anything I'm missing?
  3. I'm sorry to hear. I lost my grandfather when I was 6 to tongue cancer. It was strange, also, tongue cancer being rare as well. Although, I'll never forget the day that I told a substitute teacher off because she said there was no such thing as tongue cancer. The school didn't suspend me because I was right. Anyways bro, sorry to hear that. Spend time with her, and talk to her as often as you can man.
  4. Not if it falls off his work table and splinters into a large amount of pieces.
  5. Nuts, I glanced right over them. But the ones on Stewmac seem better to me.
  6. Yeah, even now, I read as much as I can on the basic topics, practice cutting scrap wood as often as I can, and I read up on the most commonly purchased guitars.
  7. Thank you, found exactly what I was looking for.
  8. I'm looking for a pickup selector, I looked around Warmoth and couldn't find any, does anyone know of a site I could order one from?
  9. Aye, which GC? I live pretty close to Freehold. I want to be a luthier when I'm a bit older, but my dad doesn't want me to, he says it doesn't pay-off. Anyways, good luck mate.
