  1. I think you messed up on the 3rd ring on the bass side, shouldn't it have been abalone instead of pearl? Or did you do that on purpose? Looks nice and clean though.
  2. Ending credits :O Nice sounding guitar, especially the cleans. Should have added more gain to the lead though. But hey! This isn't about your settings or anything. Congrats on the guitar!
  3. Okay, finally a good-ish shot. With a good camera. Though the string path is doing some funky tricks in this picture.
  4. 56mm nut, 76mm 24th fret. thanks for the replies!
  5. HAHA even the pickups are a bit odd for me what kind of pickups are you using?
  6. Purpleheart and bubinga are the worst smelling wood I've ever smelled. Especially when freshly cut on the table saw.
  7. a neck pickup? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH METAL MATT?
  8. What do you mean? I've found the 45dc to be perfectly fine, maybe it's cause I use a noise gate?
  9. whoa, what's this? more pictures later.. When I can use a better camera.
  10. Next thing you should do is clean up that neck/fretboard or make a new one for it.
  11. Great work on that stand! And that Ibanez is amazing, what model?
  12. How did you do your RGA-type carve top? I'm interested.
  13. Are you popeye now? And I'm going to try a flap disc soon, but on an angle grinder instead of my drill press. Don't think I could do it accurately on a press.
  14. Sounds interesting, hope this works out, as it sounds like a cool idea. Also, nice job on the carving (front and back)
  15. Please tell me you're using the Bicote for the fretboard. And, nice score on the wood.
  16. 8 string V! You should totally do that. It would be epic to the max.
  17. I like the neck pocket! Great looking bass.
  18. Good job! I could never imagine myself building a lefty.. Too confusing!
  19. Matt, that heel looks SEXY. I would love to play this thing. The shape has grown on me a lot; when I first saw it I didn't like it at all, but now I do. And that cavity rout looks really nice n' clean. Good stuff.
  20. Like I stated above, he knows the expenses so everybody needs to lay off that its just beating a dead horse. The hipshot bridges are $114 from where I get it and thats a far cry from 150... And he will either use an 808 or a 45 Dc bass pickup. Both work fine, so please stop badgering him with parts costs, he knows. Bass-man43 ok man, calm down there. i diddnt see anything about cost so i just thought id mention it. see ya EDIT: and now i looked, and there is not one thing about cost before i mentioned it. i dont know what your talking about. It was the post right before yours, by the way. Stop arguing, he knows the prices, he knows it won't get finished in 2 days, and he knows it won't be easy. Thanks to anyone who's actually gave information about anything.
