  1. Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking about putting the angle on the neck but didnt know if that would affect the heel placement at all. I think it will be best to put the angle in the neck pocket. Thanks for your help Chris and Custom!!
  2. I know this question is a little late in the stage of this build. What is the best way to route out the neck pocket with the required 3.5 deg angle included? This is the one step on the body build I cant quite work out. Would appreciate any help, thanks! I know this question is a little late in the stage of this build. 3. Ive been looking at someone online at Ebay. MagicDragonOnline is the co. Here is the link:- http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopageZ1QQsa...osortpropertyZ1 He usuallyn has LP or SG bodies and necks on auction and other parts as well. Something might catch your eye. Pappy
  4. Thanks for the responses Keith and Frank. The neck pocket is not angled. The holes that have been drilled look like pilot holes, you could fit a thin matchstick in the holes. One hole is a little bigger. There is a difference of about a 1/4 distance from the entrance hole to the exit holes. I will see about filling them up and having the holes redone properly. Hopefully that should do it. Thanks, Pappy
  5. G'day! Ive just purchased a rhoads style body, looking for a neck to put on it. The body has been pre-drilled for a neck and as I was checking them out, they seem to be slanted. Looking from the back of the guitar to the front, they slant downards towards the pickups. Is this common? Do all screw holes slant or was this a botched drilling job? Any help would be appreciated as I would like to know if this project is still salvageable or not. Pappy
