the thing in plastic makes me think tasty, can i have it?
Guitar is sweet, and i'm generally a hater of gold hardware.woukd only like it more if the middle pickgurad layer was of white like the pickups and knobs
les pauls can have the channel routed before the top is put on or you can drill through from the neck pickup cavity and run it same way as pickup wires. explorer i think have a channel routed in the body under the pick guard up about as close as possible to control cavity then drilled through. i think in soome dime style guitars i've seen long back plates up the lower horn.others have tops like les paul. suprised they were the guitars you questioned, only one that ever puzzled me was when V's had the input on the upper wing.
i've one,an explorer, the old exp style, plays really nice, above some ltds, below others, pick ups do need changing though. my friend got one from germany before too,but i don't think they're sold outside japan anymore.
batteries last forever in actives providing you remeber to plug it out when not using,my uncles has lasted 5 years in his warlock.he put a little switch on though to turn it off to make sure
now to get out my ruler and convert inches to milllimeters,my guitars are a really mess of lines,if you want to check a measurement you've to first figure out what i used to measure it.
i'm just curious as to whether there are different width than a standard nech and how much wider at both the nut and 24th or whatever fret.
thanks if you've any info on this
i've built two guitars out of plywood, both really just experimental.the only problem i ever had was with my warlock because you have to use two 3/4" an one 1/4" pieces with the 1/4" in the middle i glued they layers together and sanded down prperly but cause it was from two different sheets the 1/4" dried ot and shrunk a bit so there's now this small indent around the middle of ll the sides. i also have an explorer built of a mahogany plywood and it works very well.
