    well Im not building 2. well not at the moment anywase. Im only 16 and I barely got enough cash to finish 1. The body is Ash, and I would put a maple veneer top on if I was gonna do the 3rd one. Its basically a decision weather I want to go with a modern start with Fender Vintage Noisless pickups and new style hardware. Or if I go with the white or the black I would put in the Fender CS 69's and have vintage hardware. I know black is overdone but it would look so nice with the vintage tinted neck. Im a sucker for a black guitar

    I cant decide on which color scheme to go with. If I go with the white or black it will get vintage hardware and look something like a Hendrix guitar. If I go with the quilted burst it will get modern hardware and prolly a SD Cool Rails in the bridge. I have to say I just re-watched my Hendrix DVD and Im craving the vintage look, but Im also into the crazy looking quilted thing. HELP!!!     Im looking to buy a maple strat neck for my project strat. I want it to be 22 fret and have a vintage colored tint on it. I live in Canada, and I dont know where to buy one from. Anyone know any good online dealers that would have something like this?? or would Long n Mqaude be able to order me something, and not pay a **** load?? btw, perferably not the Genuine Fender Replacement neck because that is quite expensive.

    I couldnt find what I wanted in there. Im talking about the router bit to go around the edges of the whole guitar. I think it was 1/4 inch but Im not sure. anyone kno??

    I forgot what routering bit to use for the edges of a strat body. i kno its a chamfer bit, but what size??? whats the standard fender strat size??

    Duties wouldnt be much because it is a low cost item. All items under $1500 or something have a really low duty cost, or no cost at all.

    A spokeshave is an old tool used to carve angles. Look in this tutorial for a picture of one and to see what it does. http://www.projectguitar.com/tut/body.htm I have a question about those chamfer bits. Are you just supposed to route it free-hand or is their some way to get it even all the way around??

    How much would enough paint to do a solid colored body cost?? Paint for a spray gun that is.

    They are all 2 peice bodies, as stated on the website. They are sanded smooth but you would have to do some very fine sanding before painting. Send me a PM with your postal code and I can calculate how much shipping would be on the ups website. And by the way, all bodies are built by hand. I know its cheap but Im just starting to sell them and I wouldnt expect people to pay more for bodies from me (an unknown builder) then they would for bodies from warmoth or something. I might have to raise the prices a bit if I become really popular. And about doing tele's. I will do them if you ask me to, I just dont have the prices on the list. I will build pretty much any shape if u email me and tell me what you want.

    hey I have been building guitars and wood working for a few years but I have just decided to start trying sell them. I make body blanks (mostly alder and ash) and strat bodies (alder and ash) that are built to the fender meausurements. If you want a different body shape, I can make it.     Im pretty sure that you could paint them, Im not sure with what though. It would have to be a durable paint so it wouldnt scratch off and it would have to be a type of paint that would change the sound quality. What type of project are you doing that would have you painting your EMG's white??
