Guys, I wanna try and build a sustainer and I have the way that is posted on projectguitar. The post that is this same subject had way to much talking and explaning and at the moment i don't need to read 28 pages of posts. What I want is this sustainer to give me the squealing harmonics that products like the fernandez sustainer does. Can this blueprint for a sustainer do this? If not can you point to one that will? Will it cover doing this on all the strings or at least the 3 higher strings? How much is it gonna cost to build one and where the heck do I put it on my guitar?

ok I am in need of knowing which saga kit would be best suited for decking out with ZW emg set and spergal tuners? Which is durable as in stronger wood and whatnot? Give me your opinions. I'm thinking the PRS one will be the best choice. Brian....your professional input is greatly needed.

Ok so I"m gettin one of the PRS style kits from Bryan here within the month and I wanted to ask a few questions. First is the finish. I want to do a paint job that is a tinted laquer or clear coat of some sort. The very thin veneer wont allow me to sand so I'm trying to find a way to get the same dyed wood effect with just spray paint, anybody that can give me the type of paint and where to buy it would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to this so I have no clue at all where to look. Another hting, It's a bolt on neck I see but can the neck joint be glues perhaps? Maybe Brian can answer that question. Would it be worth it and whats the chances of it going wrong? Thanks a bunch guys.

Ok brian, I need your knowledge, I searched on saga kits and the new LP style kits were on ebay for 150 bucks! Are they supposed to be out yet? Is it really true?! And has anyone even seen them or built them yet??

I need big time help guys. I have no clue where to get tinted lacquer or how much it is. Can somebody PLEASE post a link to a place I can get blue tinted lacquer, I have no clue about paint to please be very specific with names.

Has anybody built the Strat style Saga kit? Post your pics and stats if you have build any sort of kit of guitar!

Ok, on the PRS style saga kit is tehre a way I can get a nice blue see through laquer so I can still see the grain or will I need to sand the sealer junk off and try and stain the grain? I have no clue what laquer or paint to use so if you could help me out there as well.

Hey Brian, I'm new to the forum and noticed your the best man here. I recently bought a squire strat so I could try out some new customizing stuff to it. I happen to be looking around at new guitars and noticed your site has guitar kits made by Saga. This would be perfect!! All my custom jobs would look good and permanent and all customed to me. I am interested in the PRS style kit and wanted to know... What parts of the hardware will need to be replaced so it is gig quality? I would like to do a see through blue paint job so i can still see the grain but it be a blue tint. Is this easy to do and what paint do I use? Will it be ok to scallop the rosewood fretboard without complicationhs? Thanks a bunch for answering Brian and I def. plan to be ordering my kit from you when the time comes!
