  1. After I got an outstanding solution to my last question I thought that I'd try another! I want a switch that will BYPASS the tone & volume pots on my (single pickup) guitar. I have tried this using a two-way on/on switch but I'm still able to send the signal to earth using the pots when the controls are bypassed. I feel sure that this is sort of the same issue that affects Les Pauls (when in the middle position, turning down one volume pot turns down both pickups) and I've seen a fix for this but I just can't get my tiny brain around the schematic. What should I do if I want to be able to switch between using the controls and direct output? Cheers, Matt
  2. That, my freind is a simply splendid idea. I'm off to try it now. I'll report back...
  3. Hi All, I wonder if any of you have tried fitting a kill switch directly before the output jack on a humbucker equipped guitar? I have tried this by literally putting a Switchcraft on/off switch between the output of the volume pot and the jack with ALL other wiring (earthing) staying the same. When I flip the switch the output is cut considerably but I can still hear the guitar! How can this be when I have cut off the output?! Do I need to change the earthing system? Is a signal finding it's way through the earth cables? Please help! Duck
