  1. looking very nice, at first i was thinking that a single cut wouldnt look all that great on a bass... but you have since changed my mind... doin great
  2. "Shipped" meaning the shipping is included in the price?
  3. If i had two grand id be all over that
  4. wow, thats one hell of a curve on the body... looks like it would be hard to make. and the carving... i dunno... i havent really made up my mind yet
  5. i googled it... a whole lot of information about it causing asthma (i just skimmed through it, didnt really pay too much attention, so im probably wrong)
  6. You sure its beech? pee-color isnt the color i would think of when it comes to that wood, after doing some minor research if it is beech, yeah you can stain it (i assume you ment beech, not beach)
  7. Basswood - Pronounced like the fish, not the guitar. Lightweight, warm tone, pretty soft, dents relatively easy. Walnut - With the exception of looks, I think it is very very similiar to Maple... it is alot darker though Alder - Lightweight, often used by Fender, full sound. Swamp Ash - lower-medium weight, warmth and brightness compliment each other well, good for dyed finished (IMO)
  8. Hi all, first post here, though ive been silently learning from y'all for atleast a month On to the questions.. Is useing kiln dried wood absolutely necessary? What moisture content (if thats the word) would you reccomend??
