  1. try the warmoth web site.... Warmoth click on the wood descriptions link.... You can also get the same type of descriptions for neck woods if ya navigate to the Necks and wood descriptions! Hope this helps
  2. I can answer your second question... Super Cal Water Slide Decals. They print off of an ordinary INK Jet but turn out great. Follow the instructions... Once you apply it to your headstock wait at least 12 hours for it to thoughly dry then spray the clearcoat (in my case I used Nitro Cellulose Laquer). I have not tested it with Poly. You will have to spray several (and I mean several) coats of clear, but it will gradually just disappear into the clear coat. You can purchase directly from their website. Trust me it works.
  3. Thanks for all the feedback... I have been a little disheartened lately.... I have been trying to sell the beast on e-bay with no luck. Therefore, I wanted to see what my peers thought, and, you all gave me some great responses.. I will try and answer some of your questions... I sprayed the clearcoat using a Nitrocellulose Lacquer. Hand rubbed... I thought my arms would fall off.. My arms still look like Popeye's.... The top is flat with the exception of the arm rest. That was steam formed and a pain in the *&^%!. I ran across the Anigre in a Wood shop locally here in Dallas. I think I paid $7.75 bf. The last I checked he still had a ton of it.
  4. Let me know what you think... CBM Custom Guitars
  5. If you are looking for an inexpensive duplicarving table you might be interested in this... www.copycarver.com... I am putting the finishing touches on the table as you read this.. I'll let you know if it is worth the time & $$$... It is large and ugly, but the principal seems very straight forward...
