  1. I think that sandwiching a thin veneer would be best as it is a bit more then 1 millimeter or 0.04 inch (I dont use inches so that might be wrong )
  2. I should have said that it is a Ibanez rg with locking nut and floating trem. I guess I could lower the trem somewhat but dont know about the nut...
  3. Hi! I want to replace my fretboard and have found a donor, the scale is the same but the new fretboard is a bit thinner then the original. If I use it straight on my action would be higher then it is now. I dont want that so what can I do? Use higher fretwire? Is it possible to shim the fretboard by glueing a thin piece of some material between the neck and fretboard? Any thoughts on this? Thanks! /Tomas
