  1. So has anyone added an LED to a simple channel switching footswitch? I've searched unsucessfully...How would you do it???
  2. I've had the hardest time trying to find a US source for the stuff and LOVE the way guitars look with the finish. Anybody know?
  3. Or you could go to your local Dollar Store and pick up an inexpensive hairbrush that has those plastic rod "spines" on them for the bristles. I used that once and it worked like a charm.
  4. Is that Floyd just sitting on the top (ie NOT recessed)?
  5. Yes, the VERY FIRST tool I'd buy is a router, but for the sake of this post it was either bandsaw or drill press. The router is far and away the most used tool in my shop with the drill press running a CLOSE second. Buy as much router as you can afford and learn how to use it well and it will be your best friend... in the shop that is.
  6. I would have to say drill press first as well. I use mine with a Safe-T-Planer to thin stock, sanding drums to smooth sides, Forstner bits to hog out chambers as well as pickup cavities... the uses go on and on. With just a few key accesories, it will be the most used too in your shop.
  7. Setch, with that bridge did you not use any neck angle?? I'm doing the same type of guitar with a Floyd Rose and was just curious... Nice work!!
  8. Myka, Can you explain what's going on with the "dowel" and hole in your neck pocket?
  9. So I'm still unclear on the practical aspects where the Piezo needs to go... Under the bridge pickup?? Or is it mounted on the surface of the guitar or what? I'm getting ready to build a new guitar based on a LP Jr with 2 P-90's and this would be a cool feature to add, I'm just a little unclear on what goes where... Thanks!!
