  7. That's a steal-was built for a guy who backed out, so it's new. Nice "swirl", and classic rock tone to the bone-from the KT-66 output tubes. Handbuilt, hardwired just like an oldster, just $2,000+ less. Run before I go back.....

  9. You don't bend masonite, and neither did Danelectro. Straight pine/poplar offcuts STAPLED together, covered in masonite (glued front+back) cut to shape on a pin router. The "side material" was vinyl-ALLPARTS carries(carried?) it.
  10. er, you mean nitro?? Yeah-shouldn't be a problem-but as always, TEST ON SCRAP! That said, Deft seems about the least yellowing nitro I've used..if you're looking for something that will NEVER yellow, use acrylic lacquer(start to finish-do not spray acrylic lacquer over nitro..)

  12. We have been using a SONY dsc p-50 as shop cam for 3 years now lotta bang for the buck. Good for close-ups, like this VOM labeled Mullard, or for "no look" shots using the back screen to compose, like this shot from Starbucks 1 block south of UCLA>>>
