  1. Thanks for the advice. It came with a floating bridge but thinking of using a roller bridge? Cheers. Mark
  2. This may seem like a stupid question? I have a 'Gretsch' style (hollow body) guitar (bought as a ready to paint kit - next time I WILL be building from scratch)! The pick up holes and tone/volume holes have been drilled. Before I start the sealing/painting/clear process, I want to make sure everything fits, (I really don't want to start drilling holes after I have painted it). Now, my question is with regards to the bridge, is there a way to work out the correct position of it? (I know it has to be central, just not certain about distance between say the pick up and the bigsby)? Hope someone can help? Cheers. Mark
  3. Thanks for that. We will see if 2008 allows me time to get to grips with my first guitar project in my workshop! Cheers. Mark
  4. Would that apply to painting a guitar from scratch, or should I mask up the binding?
