i want to put a second vol on my strat in this order vol1-neck vol vol2-bridge vol tone1-neck tone tone2-bridge tone i have seen diagrams but my 5 way is different to the ones on diagrams. mine has 3 lugs on the right, 3 on the left and one in the middle on the right my pups are attached like(top to bottom) neck middle bridge the middle lug on the 5 way is attached to the 3rd lug on my master vol at the moment.( left lug facing it)

right try this esquire basstone--coil split--normal--coil tap--treble enhancer(treble bleed cap,lowers bass response)

for those who said you would ahve to rip a pup out, how about (if a strat) put on a hss puickguard and only use a single coil with the sustainer beside it

i have a cheapo one, and i have and spdt switch a master vol, master tone and a blender pot, oh, and a five way. pics not possible atm dont have a digi cam, mum in process of searching for one. Edit- sustainer not reali possible at the moment, by the way, im probably going to fix some broken pedals out of my local guitar shop, i can get broken ones at a fiver a shot and fix them up. can get crybaby, TW john bull overdrive and TW mad Dog fuzz. :D

i had an idea, to save your pup put a HSS scratch plate on and put ir next to the bridge single(idea for strats btw)

okay, so i have a strat with a solo volume switch and a whatc can only be described as a mellowing humbucking blender,self designed, which works fantastic. Now that im addicted to modding my guitars, what else should i do?

, get some foamed polystyrene and make a strat style shape out ofit,cutout a v size/shape hole in the middle of the strat shape and insert the v, et voila, your able to use it on your knee

electrics run throgh the path of least resistance, wire them in parralel with a resistor on switch 1's ling and when you put on switch 3 it will only go that way

Now i realise this is a tad wierd and all but i still want to name my guitar, any suggestions? thnx TSM

right i need a little, help here, i have a strat which has a 3 way switch, a solo volume SPDT and other mods, now i wanna put a five way on and a blender, may i have instructions on what i need to do? cheers, the-stratomaster

i have a couple of crap leads lying around the house and was wondering if i could take a usb 2.0 jack, remove the 1/4 jack at one end and put the usb on so that i can offer a straight thorgh lead into my computer for recording etc
