there is a sharp pointy thing lol i can get to the screw

i recently purchased a prety old guitar but the straplock broke off and now there is a screw inside the hole were the button is supposed to be

one thing is to use ur shirt or a towel,rag or something like that put it under the knob and pull lol it should pop off

Um i just shortened my wire on my pickup lol should i just seperate the wire on the humbucker and solder some more wire on the humbuckers exsisting wire?
