  4. I voted for marlin, its just beautiful. Wez I like yours alot too the one think I think slightly spoils it is the bridge plate. All the superstrat guys they look nice but they are just so far away from anything I would want to play, sorry but personal taste is personal taste. All the rest very well done, something for everyone, good haul this month

  8. the opuicture is tiny but it looks like two on off swithches that are operated at the same time. so two seperate circuits are controlled at the same time
  9. DO NOT USE the drill for routing its dangerous and stupid. A drill uses something called a morse taper which is perfect for drilling but apply any side load to it and you'll cause yourself a mischeif. I don't even think that safety planer is a good idea. hand tools is always more fun anyway.
  10. I'm not sure if you are agreeing with me or not spokey
  11. He was referring to the headstock style not the bandsaw.
  12. They need to dig in. Do they? Ha! sorry that was maye a bit unclear. A guoge like that will dig in a making it very hard to control the depth just like a chisel. You want the bevel to be on the convex side so its against the wood and you will find it removes a small layer rather than big lumps.
  13. There is a fairly new micro brewery in scotland called brewdog some of the the stuff they produce is bloody rediculous. dopplebock.. never heard the term before but I know what you're talking about its slightly better but still to fizzy!
  14. Don't know but they have the bevels on the wrong side for carving a top, in my opinion, they'll dig in.
  15. sometimes this is such a happy place to be!
  16. Nothing wrong with lager, per se. There are some phenomenal lager styles, most of them German in origin. Some of the US micro brew lagers are great as well (Often borrowing stylistically from those German styles). But yes, light lagers as a style are hardly worth being called beer. I just not really a fan of lager in general I prefer something a bit heavier, It is good with curry I'll admit that!
  17. damn schon threw me off... still my teacher would be proud!
  18. Something like Its good there are atleast three gear-builder forum members here?
  19. I like rotosound 11s or 12s if I can get them. trial and error I'd recommend.
  20. Oh god Fosters/castlemain? thats not much better! I don't like lager much can you tell?
  21. No you don't. I do! I'll admit it hurts and is a bit messy but the end result is bloody good!
