thanks for the replies guys. for the body, i think ill go with a little less glue, wax paper in between the veneer and the weights. ill post some pics whenever i get done with this baby, i hope it turns out smooth. What are yalls thoughts on using some strong ass contact adhesive for putting on tops?

well, i glued the veneer onto my headstock about 10 minutes ago, and just now picked up the weights and there are 2 spots about the size of dimes where glue has soaked through. do i need to wipe it off now with water? or can i just work with it when everything drys? man, i hope i dont have to re-do this.
