  1. DONE!!! I think I may add a truss rod cover but not sure yet and I thought about paint and I went with the oil just because how nice the wood is but I am building another one soon and I will paint that one http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0253.jpg http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0255.jpg http://s359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...nt=DSCF0257.jpg The day these were takin that night we wired the electronics screwed down the tuners and added the strap buttons
  2. HA HA HA dont worrie thats not my house I was useing my buds camara at his place
  3. Well im geting there lol Some pics for you guys http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0189.jpg http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0191.jpg http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0194.jpg http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0197.jpg http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0199.jpg still alot of sanding to do
  4. I love this build!! Im really diging the pickups, I have A vintage style ss strat that im working on and ive never thought about p90s, very cool look how much do they run$$?
  5. No not at all really and Im a big guy and its not touching me at all, Ill be useing this jack style for most of my builds now. Its easy to do and it looks and works great
  6. Ok Ive Got it freted and the Bat box,Jack, and cover plate are done now just a TON of sanding http://i359.photobucket.com/albums/oo34/RA...RS/DSCF0187.jpg
  7. Ok Im rebuilding the neck for this guitar because some one came in to the shop and droped the neck so Im rebuilding and than painting it Black or White with black bevels
  8. its just about ready Im just working on paint
  9. So Ill also take trades, I could use Body blanks, wood, Guitar parts, tools, just about anything
  10. Well i cut my slots with the stew mac saw and the fret wire just does not sit the way it should and the teath dont bite in a hold so I set the fret and then it pops up a bit, not much but just enough that it chips the slot and I have to clean it up and redo the radius, its odd because Ive never had this problem with there wire before
  11. A part of me wants to paint it but at the same time I like the old school look that the walnut is puting out, its kind of a good mix. What do you guys think about the headstock, Im kinda iffy on it and I would like it to match the body a bit more but I also kinda think that once all the parts are on there that it will look good
  12. Ive been useing stew macs frets for a while now and the more fretwork Im doing the more I hate them, the teath on the Tangs dont bite in to the wood enough and I find that with very hard wood fretboards that the frets will lift out and tear out chips around the slot so I end up haveing to pull the frets and redo the raidus and refret So what have you guys been useing? I need some thing with larger teath on the tang
  13. hahaha I want to sometimes but I never seem to get around to it
