Hey everyone, I repainted my old guitar, but now when i try to put then pickups back in they stick up too high. how can i fix this? thanks

there's a few different thing you can use. i explain it in detail when i post it to the tutorials. And don't worry MexNoob, you'll be able to make it, it's really simple and it'll take about an hour, not even. just wait a little and i'll post the tutorial.

I'll start taking pictures and put a tutorial up when i'm finished. The one i'm making is pretty similar to the other one's on line. ill tell you guys when it's finished and post a link to the instructions. I'll go get the materials i don't already have today.

i know it's only been 30 mins but i need to know the answer because if ican do it then i'm going to do it right after i find out. if you paint your pickups will it ruin them? Are there any tips on painting them or should i just not do it? thanks everybody

i'm gonna try to find something that is a right angle and a silver shiny color. if i cant find anything i was going to get car trim. it might crack though like you said.

how well would the binding bend? and is it chrome?? thanks

hey guys, i stripped my guitar of paint and everything else. I'm now materializing it. Im putting fabric on the sides too. It's almost done, but i want to put metal lining/siding around the edges. Does anyone have any ideas on what i could use or how to do it? Thanks

Well, I guess im calling it my signature because after i make a bunch i'm going to sell them as a signature guitar, because it's MY custom design. I do agree with you, kinda, GregP

hello, im making my signature guitar im picking up some wood some time this week or next weekend. here's a pic of the design. it's like a mix between a les paul and a mocking bird. It's a crappy picture, just the shape, that i made in paint. Sorry, it's kinda small
