  1. That's what I was thinking thanks a bunch.
  2. Newbie to the guitar building world, just curious about the above mentioned topic, I'm assuming standard pots are for non carved tops and long pots are for carved tops. Excuse my question I did a search and couldn't find a topic on it. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks
  3. Avenger, those are both great looking guitars, I really like the color of the bloodwood. What kind of pickups are you going with? I might try to build an LP in the distant future and was wondering what the depth of the pickup cavity route is.
  4. Thanks killemall, thats what I was thinking but just wanted to be sure.
  5. Hey guys, new to the forum. I've been doing a lot of reading and looking at drawings and builds. One thing I can't seem to find is how folks are getting the cable channel carved into a Les Paul body. Are people running a bit through the amp plug to cut this or are people routing it out before gluing on the carved top. Just curious, sorry if its been brought up before, I checked the search option and couldn't come up with anything. Pictures would also be a big plus as well. Thanks.
