  1. If you can work with .eps files, try these bro. Rickenbacker Logo Gibson Logo Another Gibson Somehow I have the feeling you already knew about this website.
  2. Thanks guys. I appreciate your taking the time to visit. Thanks to future visitors too.
  3. I've been looking for those too. Let you know if I found any.
  4. Hi, Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I would like to inform you guys that my website offers free and commercial fonts for whatever design needs you might have. I am especially proud of the "themed" section where you can find fonts used in movies and certain band logos. Plus many more. Please visit my site and give your support. It's non-profit. Website
  5. I'm going on the record. This IS the most beautiful guitar/bass I've ever seen.
  6. Craig, In my humble opinion, you are the Marlon Brando of inlay art, man. Simply awe-inspiring.
  7. I have a guitar with H-S-H. I noticed I really seldom use the single coil, or any humbucker+singlecoil combo as in the switch positions 2, 3, 4. I usually play either the neck pickup (mostly) or the bridge. Personally I'd go for H-H like Joe Satriani. But that's just me. Whatever configuration you choose, if in the end you use crappy pickups, you wouldn't get much out of it, would ya?
  8. For those who is familiar with typographical rules, bright text on a dark background as on the main site is not encouraged. Although studentguitarbuilder's design is a bit too simple, I have to say the main site could be improved. $0.02
  9. No humbucker - humbucker - humbucker?
  10. I'm an idiot myself. I think the silver paint is conductive paint. Not sure about the white though. Maybe it's sort of primer or sealer. I'm sure the pros here will clarify this soon enough.
  11. What?? You are 14??! That guitar looks like it was built by a luthier with 14-year experience! I guess now it's safe to say you are born to make guitars. So again.. What?? You are 14??!
  12. I've searched, I've read but still haven't found the answer. Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm building a guitar with an edge pro bridge. Does the neck need to have an angle or not? I have an Ibanez RG with floyd rose, it doesnt seem to have any angle.. at least I don't notice any. Thanks for any help.
  13. Yea, definitely Gigerisque. Very nice piece of work. Alien anyone?
  14. My advice is: Don't rush into anything. I'm a noob myself. I'm in the process of making my first guitar. I guess we need to know our strengths and weaknesses. Start by making modifications to a guitar you are willing to sacrifice. Gain experience, make mistakes and learn from them. Save some money and invest in tools if you want to keep doing this. So far I've bought a spray gun, a dremel, and other small tools. Keep reading. Keep trying. Good luck.
  15. Woah... At a glance I thought the guitar is on fire... Seems the fire is on the guitar. Man, you are a legend Jeremy. All the best.
  16. Basically I agree with eddie but I would not fill the whole pocket.. just the parts that needs filling. Good luck, bro.
  17. Well, at least you gained some experience, good or bad.
  18. Hi Dani, I'm glad you introduced yourself. I'm from Singapore too. I added you to my contact list. So far, to my knowledge, there are at least 3 singaporean members in this forum. Could be more though. As you probably have found out, there are lots of nice people here.
  19. Try emailing the manufacturers of the pickups you would want to have on the guitar. I emailed Dimarzio once for a layout - 3 humbuckers 5-way switch 1 tone 1 volume. I got a reply within 4 hours. Dimarzio tech support is great, I can't say the same for any other manufacturers as I have not deal with them yet. You could try your luck though. Remember to state all the stuff you would want to have, the type of switch, the knobs etc. Hope this helps, bro.
