  1. Everytime, with the Dunlop Fretboard cleaner/oil stuff.
  2. I love carvin and jackson. The more expensive Jacksons, that is.
  3. If you're worried about volume, you could get a Carvin V3 or something, then get an attenuator to lower the volume. Just a thought.
  4. IT'S ZE FINAL COUNTDOWN! Haha, so bad. The solo... the solo.
  5. I have: Guitar > Digitech Hot Rod > Metal Zone > Boss Super Chorus > Boss Volume pedal > Amp (Fender Deluxe 90 DSP > Boss DD-6 delay (Effects loop). I guess I am...
  6. You don't need any advice, you're BucketHead! Haha, joking aside, Kid Charlemagne by Steely Dan would be a cool song to do, but hard to do solo or with a small band. But yeah, I'm 16, and my band covers Don't Fear The Reaper. Try it out, very fun song to jam out and have fun to.
  7. When I play with my stereo, I just leave my amp where it is: I'll be in the middle of my room, the stereo on my dresser against one wall, my amp on the opposite wall, and the pedalboard against the wall inbetween. Works for me.
  8. Not to mention, the more often you get surges and voltage drops, the quicker your gear will want to die on you. Like feylya said, it's better to blow out a cheap Furman than let's say a Triaxis, then perhaps a TC Electronics effects processor as well. PS - Scott Rosenberger, I live about 45 min. away from you. 0_0
  9. Yeah, I like LP studios, they're nice. They're just really hard to play when: You're nervous. Sitting on a table because you're in a classroom with no normal chairs. It's not your guitar. But it was cool. I'm so eager to play in front of people, but I'm not sure who or where.
  10. Good job man. Congrats. I still haven't played in front of many people, but I can't wait until I play something like that. My school's talent show isn't until April/May, so I have PLENTY of time to get material down. I just hope I don't get nervous, I've never played in front of more than 30 people, but that was with a 10 watt amp and a poorly set up Les Paul Studio, so it didn't matter anyway. Good job though, glad you had fun.
  11. Right on, I learned that the hard way. Luckly, I've sort of redeemed myself. Many people in my school would rather hear some pop-punk/nĂ¼ metal hybrid than me jammin' to some Satriani though. Meh, whatever. It's all good, and what matters is that I enjoy my playing. THAT'S what counts.
  12. Cool, thanks for the replies guys! It's getting fixed right now, but incase it ever happens again, now I know.
  13. I have a Jackson DKMG, and I took off the neck to do a little work on Saturday (the 13th). I got it back on and tightened it as far as I could, but it is still a hair loose. Why would this be? I brought it to the guitar place near my house yesterday (The 17th), but it won't get looked at untill Tuesday! So, I really have two questions: Why wouldn't the neck get tightened? Will having no string tension on the neck for this long have any negitive effect on the neck? (I.E: Back bow...)?
