since you've covered the top i'd find someone to do a cool graphic PRS..maybe something unique and never seen on a PRS what did you do as far as inlays on the new board { are they still birds ?? } maybe something to tie in with them or someone recently re did their PRS to the old very valuable "Metal" model it not an original but i think it turned out pretty cool..( you could do any color you want) http://www.prsforums.com/forums/index.php?...&hl=metal+model i always thought a charvel Hot Rod flame job would look wild on a PRS maybe some flip flop flames paint??

i've personally been ripped off by Ed on some guitar parts in the past..so i'm perfectly qualified to call him "the weasel" that he is... Ed is in no way, shape or form associated with Mcnaught guitars any longer..Dave dropped him as an authorized dealer like many of the other top Builders... i though this came out so cool. i just had to pass it along... Ron Thorns latest " the navajo" particulars to take notice of 1) Wagner pickups with all koa bobbins 2) 3/4" inch koa top is inlaided and glued into the black limba back (not glued on top ) 3) a koa tonepros bridge and complete koa appointments ( won't find a stich of plastic on this guitar.. http://p092.ezboard.com/fthornnewsanddiscu...picID=192.topic Not sure how Koa fits in with the whole Navajo theme but thats what the owner wanted so.....still cool regardless

i don't think thats too far fetched, i know i've heard somewhere of them using steam to loosen the glue under a fingerboard to be replaced... i quess the theory is the glue bond would melt from the steam

Love to see pics when your done.. Man i wish i had Cad knowledge and access to CNC machine..i'd probably never have to buy another custom guitar again
