hey guys i installed my pups but when i turn down the volume pot there is still sound coming out with alot of static ive got a les paul copy with 2 tone and 2 vol with a push pull pot i dont know wat the problem is ive chacked grounding but still cant figure wat it is any help is appreciated

hey guys i was using the stew mac fret scale calculator to find bridge post distance for a tuno matic bridge and im just curious why, when i enter 22 frets and a scale length of 24.75 the posts of the tuno matic bridge are spposed to be at 24.811" (±0.030") from nut to center of treble-side post. Mount bass-side post 1/8" further from the nut. isnt this a bit far for the scale length of 24.75" can you guys explain why this is so? thanks

hi guys , i was wondering how i would stain the back of an LP body if it were already sanded and sealed. the bought the body from a shop in Aus , it feels like a thin layer of sealant is applied very much like a satin finish. the body itself is raw mahogany and maple where i wish to stain the mahogany back dark brownish. thanks for your help in advanced

hey guys i live in oz and this is the only body i can get i was thinking of purchising it but with a mahogany body i would like to know if the ply top is going to affect the overall tone and if so to what extent thanks
