After trying many different brands of chemicals to strip the paint off my guitar I found that Jasco paint and epoxy remover reigns over all other chemical strippers, just dont get it on your skin or you'll end up with some nasty burns

I have a crazy unrealistic and some say supid idea to rewire my strat. I'm replacing the two tone knobs with volume knobs giving each pickup a volume knob, I'm putting in a seymour duncan Jb in the bridge, im putting in three tone knobs where the five way selector is and im putting in four switches, one four way selector to use on the humbucker two on and off switches for the middle and bridge and a kill switch that would override the other three. This would give me complete control over the tone of my guitar. also im putting on a locking bridge and tuning tabs and way in the back of my head i was considering replacing my maple and rosewood neck with a straight maple. mike

I am building a strat style guitar and im thinking about putting a seymour duncan jb sh-4 for the bridge pickup and and an sh-2 jazz model for the neck and a fender noisless in the middle. if anyone has any comments or ideas please let me know.

I talked to a guitar tech and he suggested alder or basswood for the body with a seymour duncan JB on the bridge with a fender noisless for the middle and neck pickups. any ideas.

I am selling my mexi strat in order to buy parts for my current guitar project but I can't deicde on a price. It is in decent condition with only one chip which is barely noticable, i upgraded the pickups to fender noisless witch gives beautiful tone and every one who plays it loves how it plays. any one who has any ideas would be much appreciated.

thanks alot. do you have any sugestions for pickups. I'm going with a strat style with three single coil pickups lace sensors maybe but I really don't have the knowledge to make an intelligent choice.

does anyone have any ideas for a type of wood to use for the body of my guitar

I am building my first guitar I know very little about the art of guitar construction, all I have is an idea for how it would look, an uncle with extensive wood working skills and a love for guitar. Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated I literally know nothing about it other than what I've learned off of this website.
