  1. How do I go about doing that exactly? Thanks! Chris
  2. I just set up my 3 Dimarzio super II's in my old Ibanez to change between humbucking and single coil. When I switch to single coil I get alot of hum and or buzz, but not nearly as much when humbucking. Is this normal, I know single coils do not cancel hum but........Thanks! Chris
  3. All 3 pups about 3.25 ohms to ground. Does that sound right? Chris
  4. I have an Ibanez that I recently installed a middle pup in. It now has 2 superII's and a super distortion in it. I wired it up according to a diagram I found on guitarelectronics.com. http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/product/WDUHHH3T2201 I can't get rid of the buzzing. It fades when I touch the strings, but is still present enough to be noticable. Is it grounding, shieliding? I need help! Thanks!!! Chris
  5. Check out the California 12's at Weber VST. The Chicago's are great also!
  6. Try over at Aron Nelsons stompbox forum. Great knowledge and info abound!!! Chris
  7. I used my dremel tool to route out a pup cavity on my Ibanez CN250, and it worked great! I did drill about 30 pilot holes first, and then used the dremel from there. These things come in handy all the time!!! Chris
  8. My bass players Fender Jazz bass likes to buzz along with the music. It does not seem to ba grounding issue, because when he puts his hands on the strings it stops. So I think it needs more shielding or something? Also, his pickups are active so I think that is playing a role also. Any thoughts? Chris
  9. Try Hoffmanamps.com You will see a great deal of info and a great forum to learn about building tube amps
  10. How do I go about measuring coil resistance? Also, the neck and middle pickups are both Dimarzio super II's and the bridge is a Dimarzio super distortion. I would think they all had similar characteristics, but ya' never know! Anyways, let me know how to measure coil resistance please! And thank you! Chris
  11. I used the two old volume pots for the pre-existing pups, and one of the old tone pots for the new pup. I would imagine that the volume pots were 250k and the tone pot was 500k, and that is why I had the issues. when I turned the new pup pup pot down just a little, it shut the pup off entirely, and the original two pups got much louder. I just ordered 3 250k pots for the volumes and one 500k for the tone, and will hook it up with those when they come. That should solve the problem, if not.....? Chris
  12. Here at Guitarelectronics.com WDU-HHH3T22-01
  13. Hello, I just got this site reccomended to me by a pal over at Aron Nelsons stompbox forum. Anyway, i just addded a middle humbucker to an Ibanez CN250, which has two humbuckers already. So I wired up the third pickup with all 3 going to seperate vol. controls and one tone pot. The middle pickup seems to be sucking tone from the other two pickups, but when I turn it down the other two come to life. Any ideas on what is going wrong? Thanks! Chris
