  1. Nice one! Is it just me or is there a cat face figure in the guilt?
  2. I like the colour and how it works with gold hardware. Though the headstock looks mabye a bit too massive due to the rather big cutoutie thingie, it looks good otherwise
  3. Yeh I like the white one too.. Mabye because the snowcloud looks a bit too flat and the outer line makes a nice, more outstanding binding for the white one. I think you should give the binding a thought
  4. Well the fastest way would be Google So you'll find, this on PG: "Black Ice Over Drive with a Tweed Amp Crunch By Ansil Gregory" And of course, as Robert succested, search the forums
  5. Niicee BTW Ii didn't actually realize how big the guitar is until I saw it in Megan's hands.. because it looked normal-sized on Matt
  6. Hi again! The story for waking up this old topic is, that as i got my broken HDD back to work by exchanging it's electronics, I found some pics on my desktop and a browser bookmark to this topic So I thought I'd do something with this design and post it here to see if I've got any better in the past time and also to show that I'm still keeping an eye on the forum Well, it looks like i've at least found some of the possibilities of Photoshop, if not else So gimme all them oppinions and critics Here it comes: Peace, Erik
  7. Okay.. i worked on it and i think i'm getting somewhere. It Still needs some work though especially on the lower-left horn, but it definetly is better than my original design
  8. Marzocchi-Thanx, those horns are way better and give me something to actually start working on Aslo thanks, skibum, for the tip. I will use it
  9. Well, rokeros, im sorry too that skill doesn't come overnight.. As said before this IS my first CAD-project aswell as my first guitar project. As for the curves i'm not looking for any freaky-monster style for my first project(witch doesn't mean freaky-monster style can't be good ), rather i'm looking for something simple but a little different than Strat or Tele. Okay, ill add the pic so you could give me a hint of what you think is bad about it. Heres the pic:
  10. Hi! I'm trying to make a guitar in TurboCAD for the design and templates.. so i've got that far: or Do you, guys think those are any good? And if they are, which one is better? (Btw. this is my first CAD project so.. ) Thanx, Erik
  11. Hi! I'm thinking about making a solid body for a Strat neck i have. Now the first question would be, which wood to use for the body - alder or maple? Second, about the finishing: Is it fine to use water-based dye, a rattlecan black for the burst and do i need to grain-fill the woods if i use industrial lacquer? Third, ill add the sketch i made whilst in a class and maby you guys could help it get a bit better as i'm not actually that good at drawing.. specially on drawing a guitar well Anyways thanks beforehand, Erik
