  1. Ha! I actually think I have enough leftover to make 2 or 3 more of these.
  2. More sanding and crack filling. Here’s one with super glue and wood dust from sanding
  3. I think I’m going solid chrome nickel covers for the pickups like I did on this project from a while back. Clean and classy and nicely accents the figure of the body.
  4. Scored this chrome Gotoh bridge for $30. Open box never used. Couldn’t pass up a deal.
  5. Little more work done. Finished belly carve and started rounding the edges.
  6. Speaking of hardware, I was looking at some solid nickel humbucker covers like this one in gold or black chrome with matching hardware
  7. Not a lot of progress due to work and home projects but I did a little more crack filling and got another glamour shot wet down
  8. I've always liked those Yamaha SG's Nice work so far
  9. Nice work so far. Especially like the F holes.
  10. Super glue on top for some more cracks. Once I get all visible cracks and voids filled, I’ll finish sand then seal the entire body with super glue and epoxy
  11. Got a decent arm contour but as you see have a lot more work on sanding and filling voids
  12. Laid template down to get arm contour marked out
  13. That black and yellow first guitar is absolutely sick! Love it
  14. Yeah agree. Totally a rough drawing and needs refined
  15. Playing around with a reverse headstock shape
  16. I may change to this mahogany neck blank I have. It’s around 30 years old, part of a large lot of necks and bodies I bought last year. Rings like a bell when I tap tone it. Large headstock blank so I can cut the shape I want
  17. Clear epoxy for the rest. I wanted to get some black in there for the larger spots. The back has more which I will show tomorrow after this cures on top
  18. Filling some of the bigger voids with black stained epoxy.
  19. Done with the router. I’ll be rounding the edges with sander to make sure no more tear out. Done for today and off to band practice
  20. Only couple tear outs and easily sanded out and rounded over
