  1. I bet. Oh well, I guess it'll be a relic project now.
  2. No, when I was putting the final screw in while installing tuners the screw broke. While I was trying to get the broken screw out it got a bit messy. I think I might just go with a sawdust/cynoacrilic mix.
  3. So here's what happend. I was instaling tuners on strat style warmoth neck and one of the screws broke off. My guess is that I didn't predrill the hole quite right. So here's my question. What should I use to fill the hole? Unfortunetly the hole isn't a perfictly clean cut because when I was trying to get the tip of the screw out it got a bit messy. Any ideas you guys might have would be great. Thanks Bill
  4. I have one of the old Squires in parts, but when it was together it was a great guitar. I got it on ebay a couple of years ago for just over 100 bucks, not bad. Bill
  5. Thanks for the info guys. Since I dont care about the finish I went ahead and tried it with the claw end of the hammer. To my surprise the studs came out very easily. I was actually kinda bummed about this because it makes me think that this wasn't helping the guitars tone and sustain if the studs were just floating in the wholes. Oh well. The job has been taken care off and it's time to start taking the old finish off. My first refin, wish me luck. Thanks again Bill
  6. Hey folks. This is my first post in the forum and from what I can see with all of the other topics I'm sure I'll get some good ideas and answers to my question. Anywho... I am about to refinish a LTD Viper 100 for a friend and was wondering on the best way to take out the studs for the bridge and the stopbar. If anyone has any ideas that might help that would be great. Thanks Bill
