  1. I have got a peavey generation EXP i want to put a walnut pickguard on. I already have the wood. My guitar is sunburst. I was wondering what color(s) would look good to stain/finish the pickguard. Also, any resources/information out there for the best possible way to get a nice, high quality finish on it? Please let me know by emailing me adavis@intrannuity.net THANKS!
  2. where do i put my bridge for a 24 1/4 " scale? " " " " "" " " " 25.5" scale?
  3. where should i drill the holes in my guitar body for installing the tailpiece/bridge (does it matter how far up or down the guitar it is)? i love the sound of the EMG-85 pickups ( i am planning on just having one pickup in my guitar...positioned right in the middle), but don't they require batteries? that turns me off. what comparable Humbucking pickup should i use?
  4. thanks. so, what can i do about the bridge? any other advice?
  5. i am starting to build my own guitar. i am going to base the body on a Peavey T-60. However, i want to use a 25.5 " (648 mm) neck on it (probably a telecaster). what dimensions should i cut out for the neck-joint? what i am going to do is just have 1 pickup in the center of the body to show off the wood (and to make things simple.....) any suggestions??? also, which should i use: a string-through or stop tailpiece? what are the advantages of each??
