  1. So.... are you Tom Morello? j/k, cool idea, in an ironic sorta way
  2. In every conversation, on the internet or face to face, if the words "bass guitars" are mentioned, it is my duty as a music fan to simply say.... MICK KARN!! There are bassists more technically skilled, sure. But none are cooler.
  3. Oh, silly pants And the KH-203 is the lower-end LTD Hammet LP, the 602 is the super Strat/MII thing. Anyway, I have no Floyd'ed guitars, so I may look into to something like that soon... I can't believe I didn't get a "Welcome Back" or nothin'...
  4. I don't need to point out the many ESP Eclipse's (LP-style) with Floyds, do I? The KH-3, KH-602 and -603, and the "Sugizo" model. Hammet is way ahead of you people.
  5. From time to time, I'll kiss the back of my Strat's headstock. If I ever get a lovely girlfriend (yeah, that'll happen) I'll have her kiss the headstock with lipstick on, then I'll seal the lip prints, so I can always have her kiss with me!! ....Man, Sudafed can mess you up. Me on drugs is a scary, scary thing.
  6. That's just insane, man. I gotta get something from you....
  7. More pics: http://www.zakk-wylde.net/images/photos/za...ges/zakk71.html http://www.zakk-wylde.net/images/photos/za...ges/zakk73.html http://www.zakk-wylde.net/images/photos/za...es/zakk119.html
  8. That would be great, LGM, I'd love to be able to do this. I'm gonna try to find some more pics of the guitar...
  9. Hello, everyone! I'm kinda confused in regards to how this finish was achieved: "Chrome" and Black Bullseye's LP 1 Another view Is it just a mirror finish with black bullseye painted over? How would I go about doing something like that? Do you know of anyone who could do it for me, should my skills not be up to snuff? Thanks a lot, folks! Nick
  10. Dang it, why'd you have to post that?!?! The fretboards are the coolest part. I just got my first 7-string (Conklin GTG-7), but if I ever get a Ibanez RG with a hardtail bridge, I know what I'm doing to it....I don't think it would look right on the Conklin...
  11. I voted for the Dimebag Darrell, even though it's just a (very) slightly modified version of the Dean ML.
  12. Yeah, that's a sick crack.... Cool story behind the guitar, though, and I don't even really listen to Steve Vai. His website has more than kept me interested
  13. Dude, I just downloaded one of your songs ("Alone in a crowd") for the hell of it, and man oh man, you kick some major ass!! It really makes me feel like crap, you've only been playing for a short time longer than me, and you blow me out of the water. My apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this in, but, kudos to you, Alex! I've been playing for close to 8 years, and I'm going to be starting lessons next month....I've should have done that at the beginning, lol. I don't what scales are, nothin' like that. I mean, I'm not a completely horrendous player, but not on most of you peoples' levels. Anyway, I'm downloading the rest of Alex's songs ASAP. Later, folks
  14. Oh, cool! I didn't even know you could get those, I've only seen them on the Roswell Rhoads... Thanks for the link, Brian, I'm definitely using those on a future project.
  15. Here Just look around under under "Bodies", "Necks" and "Luthiers' Notes". You're bound to learn something. Take care, folks!
