  1. Thanks Sadly I don't have any of those pictures on this computer, I'll post some when I get home next week
  2. Yeah. it's nothing to worry about Are you going to clear coat over the top? If you are, then you'd need to clean it up anyway, to get rid of the dust etc
  3. Hi, you may have seen my Telecasters in the project section. I thought this would be the best place to post this thread. I'd like to show you the 1964 Guild X175ch that I've restored I know it's got the wrong bridge and tuners, it's even the wrong colour, it should be cherry red. But I built it for playing, not looking at in a museum. Hope you guys like it Dave
  4. Have to try the dropping down the stairs thing with the Bocaster...how many flights of stairs? Cement? Tile? Carpeting? Oh yeah, I agree, that strat head doesn't look right. Why not carve it to tele style? ← So many questions. Duff, which other one? The Strat neck is on there because it was the only thing he liked about his old Strat and he wanted it put on the Tele body I sold him along with a bunch of other mods, what he wants he gets. Part of the relicing was done with a plane because when I did the forearm contour, I did it in the wrong place for the way he plays, the rest is from him not using a case and dropping it down about 40 carpeted stairs on to his housemates mountain bike. The back of it looks pretty similar to the front but with the addition of major buckle rash. I don't think he'd ever sell it, he loves it more than anything else he's ever owned.
  5. Hehe, thanks. Do you mean the beat up blue one with the EMG? My brother dropped it down the stairs
  6. Oooh, school boy error Duff, you should know better than that mate
  7. Thanks, they're my favourite guitar. I decided to come check this place out because the forums that I'm a moderator on are dead now. Hehe, everyone has jumped ship and come here. If you can't beat them, join them For the light blue one, I made the body myself, but I bought the neck, my tool collection/confidence isn't up to that yet. The 2 I built for my brother are partscasters andthe natural one at the bottom was a modded Japanese Fender
