  1. hey guys, I was wondering if you can put a 498 from the bridge of an sg and put it in the neck position, and also how bad is it or how diferent does it sound to do that with any bridge pick-up, I have 3 good bridge pickups that need a home and i want to replace 2 neck pickups. thanks a lot
  2. I'm a big fan of the SD george lynch sreamin demon, real good on cleans too, but I totally agree with the JB for versatility.
  3. I just bought one of these fury pickups today and it sounds really smooth for clean stuff, not so good for hi gain playing. are these popular at all, I had never really heard of fury pickups before. just wondering if anyone's had one or a fury guitar?
  4. hey everyone, I recently bought a sweet lookin' tele body on ebay and I need to make the screw holes for the bridge and control plate, what would be the best way of doing this without the risk of damaging the finish or anything? what type of drill bit do I use? thanks a lot! It's basicaly just like this one, from the same guy and everything. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=7311981285
  5. I was kinda thinking about a sd dimebucker, would this be a bad idea? I find that my sd screamin demon has great cleans anyway so I could just go for full out metal pickup in the neck, keep in mind i'm extremely new to all this stuff and I have no idea what i'm doing so feel free to put me in my place
  6. hey guys, I new to this board and to guitar building, so I'd like some help in with pickup selection. I put a seymour duncan sreamin demon in my bridge position of my washburn, but I was wondering what would match nicely for the neck? This guitar is mainly used for metal and heavy rock. any suggestions? Thanks a lot in advance, great forum! see ya, Mike
