  2. PRS has made a couple models with a bolt neck you can reference from. Currently the Johnny Hiland edition.
  3. Does anyone know anyone other than Roman who has these?
  4. Here ya go. I posted a similar thread the other day. http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...ket+routing+jig http://www.mykaguitars.com/tools/neckpocketjig/
  5. Interesting update to add to this thread http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/fen...ght-case-201886 http://ttabvue.uspto.gov/ttabvue/v?pno=911...OPP&eno=246
  6. LOL! Yea, definitely 2 different leagues. I tried to buy a special G&L lefty SB-2 bass from Roman about 10 years ago and it didn't go too well. I never bought it and ended up special ordering one from Buffalo Bro's instead. I love to watch Ed's youtube vids where he tells you how everyone els's guitar designs suck!
  7. Soul mate are definitely a very good option. Doug is present on here sometimes, also. Apologies for the spelling - i'm getting used to this mobile browser. Thanks Guys. I've actually been trading email with Doug for the last 2 days. Great guy and very helpful. As a professional buyer, is my nature to see if there are options before I commit. Only other I've seen is Ed Roman but good luck getting him to answer a request; or god forbid he does answer with one of his rants!!! BA
  8. Any tips or tricks on how to make a template to accurately route in 3 dimensions on an arched top guitar so I can set the neck angle? Thanks, BA
  9. If you are looking for a custom guitar you have come to the right place. maybe if you give your location it would make it easier to find someone. I'm in Detroit
  10. Hi All: I'm new to the site. I've embarked on my second custom guitar project and am in the planning stage. My skill isn't at a level where I'm comfortable doing my own neck and body so I'm trying to find someone to do this to my specs. I really want to do a set neck this time and I am wondering if you guys can recommend some reputable shops who do custom set necks? Thanks for the help, BA
