    i have a question of my own, i have been searching everywhere for an answer as to why perpendicular fret placement is a factor. what difference does it actually make? is it just preference? if i just figured out the fret placement for say "Scale Length A" and drew a straight line to the corresponding "Scale Length B" fret placements, wouldn there be a definite perp fret already? thanks for any help guys.
