  1. More of the same, guys! Mahogany body and neck, maple top, rosewood fingerboard. Gotoh hardware, seymour duncan pickups. The different in this project is the handed buffing, light relic on the finish, acid aging in all hardware, and reverse inlays. Hope you like!
  2. Impressive attention to the details! Awesome! My color vote goes to grey burst or blue ( blueburst you don't think?) Congrats!
  3. Tks Scott, but the idea it's not mine but gibson's. Just to be fair.
  4. the main idea it's looks like, not to be a robotic one. I find the gibson original hardware on the net but it's too expensive. today I polish and make some very ligth relic on her, pics soon.
  5. Hello folks Lately I've more visited (reading) the forum than post. My day job is killing me days, more and more work. Fortunately I can still get time to relax working on instruments. Well this is one of the projects that I have worked in the last two months. Mahogany body and neck Imbuia top and stripes Rosewood fretboard Schaller hardware EMG 81-60 pickups Hope you enjoy.
  6. Thanks folks! The blue color was a mix of stain and sealer, just a few drops to be translucid enough. The burst was black paint. Same process that I used on to the blueburst lespaul but a little darker. The pores of Ash was left open to show the wood texture. To make some contrast of gloss top and back.
  7. It's finished!! Hope you guys like it!
  8. Now it's painted and polished. Assembly is coming!
  9. The last update, with the coffin case that arived last week.
  10. Thanks again guys! In fact I had paint two times the bullseye's lines. In the first the colors gone switched. In the second time can't cut the rigth way in some lines.
  11. Nice builds!! How sounds the barekuncles? The neck pickup is rigth with that poles position? Awesome ones!
  12. Thanks Guys! It looks and sounds hot! I put Magma Strings on it and like too much!
  13. the fret ends, looks sharp, but it only straight, plain. comfortable to play tks guys!

  15. Some parts and top wood. I don't know if use EMGs or Bare Kuncles ....
  16. Guys!! I entered into a phase of lot's of work at my day job ( that pay the bills LOL) In luthiery is not different but I try to follow my work schema. The two current projects became into clean step ( paint, varnish ... ) so I don't mess up the shop. Dirty job steps are stoped for a while, so the things became more lazy. So am I, with few pics, few time. But I begin to see the ligth at the end of the tunel
