  1. Thanks for the help guys, I am stocking up, I dont know what to build yet. I so far have a beautiful 2 piece Mahogany 18"x24"x 1 3/4"

Hmmmm. decisions, descions... I am so far thinking Tele body, Nashville pu config w/ strat neck pocket with a satin clear nitro finish. I have a carvin bolt on neck waiting for a body.

Would eventually like to do a Strat '57 v neck for it. possibly in mahogany/ebony.

  2. Hey guys, I looked but couldnt find.

I need some starting dimensions for my lumber, this is what I'm looking for-

    Les Paul Neck

    Les Paul Body

    Strat/Tele body

    Strat/Tele neck

I have a carpenter wanting to barter for a gang box I have, and I told him I want some Blanks in return.

    Your help is always appreciated.

  3. Find out if any of your friends or customers are a Millwright, or a Rigger. They may not want to help you, but will tell you how, lol.

Pay movers. Guitars talk, B.S. walks (wink, wink)

Furniture Dollies are god, and hold alot more wieght than people think, Problem is getting something that weighs more than,200 lbs. onto it safely.

Pallet jacks are good. hilo is better.

  4. I am new here and and am gonna toss in my .02

Since youre painting it why not save yourself some time and money and just use Bondo?

I haven't used it on a guitar body, but have used it to restore window sashes where the whole corner rotted away due to water damage. Bondo is even marketing to the wood community these days http://www.bondo-online.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=707

The above link is being sold in home depot, in the caulking aisle. But regular automotive bondo will work just fine.
