  1. Sorry if this has been listed before, i tried serching but nothing really answered my question I've got a humbucker a 3way switch and a volume pot. I've heard that u can get a humbucker so that just the just the front half is on or just the back half and then both, soz don't know the technical talk... so i was hoping for this kind of set up, any ideas on how i would do this, and a wiring diagram would be great if any1 has one at all. Cheers in advanced! Noddy
  2. I've had a strange idea, which, probably wont work... I've been looking at the wah-wah circuit diagram on generalguitargadgets.com and i was thinking that if i was to put that inside the guitar, and have a sliding switch which would control the wah and also a switch to turn it on and off. Or maybe have a sliding push pull switch ( if they even make them...) to turn it on and off and to control the wah. Any opinions, good idea ? bad idea? Cheers Noddy

  4. Hi, sorry if something like this has been listed before ( the only one i could find is the on board distortion one ) i was wonderig if any one has had any experience in making there own on board effects, i was thinking along the lines of the ones on axesrus.com but maybe simperler (sp). I'm doing a systems project soon and would really love to do something like this. Also i was thinking of just taking apart a stomp box and sticking it in the back with the push switch at the front with the tone pots and that, probably a bad idea... and size wont be much of an issue as i'm making my own guitar in DT aswell. Any ways Cheers in advance Noddy

I was wondering would the basswood be able to hold the strings goin thru the body or would i need Ferrules to stop the string rippin thru the body. Sorry if this has been mentioned before but it seems when ever i search for something nothings there!!! Cheers Noddy

  13. I found the one about retopping a les paul but i cant seem to find one anywhere about making it semi acoustic so i started a new topic maybe be I'm seaching the wrong things. Noddy
  14. Hi, i was thinking of getting my les paul copy body and cutting the top off with a big fat bandsaw and then getting a piece of flamed maple and cut the f shaped holes out in it and sticking the flamed maple on, also making the top flat. I've had a browse inside thru the pickup holes and it looks like i would have to route out the body to make it semi acoustic. Any Ideas??? Cheers Noddy
  15.
